Hector Marcel and Stephen McManus, partners in life and in business, have been running Three Jewels Enlightenment Studio together for over 6 years. Three Jewels is a New York based studio dedicated to help people reach their highest potential through meditation, yoga, Buddhist philosophy and community outreach.
Hector Marcel has been personally studying and practicing Tibetan Buddhism for over 23 years. He is also an organizational change management consultant helping executives drive transformational change in their organizations through an emphasis on culture, people and service. He is a master teacher of meditation and eastern philosophy, linking ancient Asian ideas to modern western systems for individuals and teams. Hector serves on the board of the Asian Classics Institute, he is the director of the 108 Lives Project and is the president of Three Jewels.
Stephen McManus serves as the Executive Director of Three Jewels. He was originally introduced to yoga and meditation as a child from his mother. After spending many years resisting all religion and spirituality, he found himself practicing meditation as a way to cope with anxiety and stress. After moving to New York City in 2012, he met Hector through an online dating app and the rest is history.
